Our theory is that this is partly because every slot of each of your frames has already been filled with the most common or typical information. Then you use this to make a good guess whenever you don't have additional information.
･･･ In other words, a typical frame describes a stereotype whose "default assumptions" are usually right - but which you can easily change whenever you meet some exceptions to them.
